Thank you so much to all of you who have registered for the Communication Arts Festival!    We are looking forward to it!

Please arrive at Fen Oak by 9:15 to sign in.  We would like to start at 9:30.

Projector and Computer Available

For those of you doing Illustrated Talks or Power Point Presentations, there will be a computer and a projector at Fen Oak.  Please bring your presentation on a thumb drive.  You can bring your own computer as a back-up.

We encourage everyone to stick around for the entire festival to watch each other and to be a part of the awards ceremony.

If you need to move to the other room to present or to prepare something, please do so between speeches.    Would anyone like to be a door monitor?  This is a great job for a waiting sibling, for a parent, or for one of the speakers when it isn’t his/her turn.  You can email polly4h@gmail.com to help out!

We also love photos!  If you are there and taking photos, please send them to me to post on the site.  If anyone does not want their photo on this site, please let Polly know!

If you want to, you can bring some snacks to share!  We will have a table set up in the hallway for food items.  Water is available in the bubbler in the hallway.

Extemporaneous Speeches

You can find list of possible extemporaneous speech topics on the website.  The speakers will draw from those and have time to prepare in a separate room.

Email polly4h@gmail.com if you have ANY questions!!

If you want to stop getting posts from this blog, please click on the manage subscriptions link at the bottom of this page.

See you Saturday!

If you are new to demonstration speeches like we are, there is a great video on U Tube you may want to watch. How to give a 4-H Demonstration.
