4H kids having fun expressing themselves!

Communication Arts Festival this Sunday!! April 17, 2012

Filed under: Uncategorized — Polly @ 2:42 pm

I am really looking forward to hearing all of the great sounding speeches at Fen Oak this Sunday!  Even if you did not register, you are welcome to attend the event!

There will be two rooms of presentations…one room will be Demonstrations and Illustrated Talks, the other room speeches everything else.  You will get a schedule when you register.  Please arrive by 12:45, so we can start promptly at 1:00.  We understand that people need to come in and out of the rooms to accompany their schedules, but please do so quietly and between presentations. A great audience makes for a great presentation.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions, applaud, and make the speaker feel important!!

The judge will speak with each presenter after his or her speech and will give out individual ribbons at that time.  When everyone in the room has finished their presentations, the judge will give out the championship ribbons.

Please feel free to bring drinks or snacks to share out in the hallway.  The festival will probably last until 3:45 or so.

There will be photographers at the event taking pictures to share on the website and at the Dane County Fair.  If you have any opposition to being photographed, please let us know at registration.

See you on Sunday!

  1. Lori Says:

Will you be sending out a schedule prior to Sun, like last year?

  2. Polly Says:

We won’t publish the schedule in advance. It’s too uncertain. It’s best for everyone to plan to be at the festival from 12:45 until 3:45.
